Musical ground breaker Henry Threadgill and his group ZOOID return to Jazz Gallery this weekend. If you have never seen Threadgill perform, well you should. His compositions are thoughtful and adventurous, his instrumentation eclectic and purposeful. The lineup is as follows: Henry Threadgill on alto sax/flute/bass flute, Liberty Ellman - acoustic guitar, Dana Leong - cello, trombone, Tarik Benbrahim - oud, Jose Davila - tuba/trombone, Elliot Humberto Kavee - drums.
