Beginning on Tuesday night, pianist Robert Glasper begins his five evening stand at the Village Vanguard, accompanied by bass player Vicente Arche and drummer Damion Reid.

Known for his work with R&B group Bilal, and projects of his own, Glasper's group is part of the young guard of piano trios that is impacting the jazz scene today.
