Description:Rein Bar & Bistro at The Garden City Hotel hosts live entertainment evenings, themed Singing in the Rein, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9:30 p.m.

One may sit at the rear-lit onyx bar or more intimately table-side in the rarified lounge-like room to take in an array of performances. Artists from Elite Music & Entertainment range in style from R&B, Motown and jazz to classic rock, perform Top 40 hits and take audience requests.

To fit late-night appetites, award-winning Executive Chef Steven De Bruyn introduces new appetizers and shared plates. There is a cheese fondue with four types of crispy potato skins and toppings; tuna tartare nacho stacks with avocado cream and roasted pepper sauce; a grilled chicken panini with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, basil leaves and mayonnaise; and honey-glazed chicken wings with pineapple-pepper salsa and plantain chips. Among the desserts are a cran-raspberry trifle with layers of toasted cinnamon-ginger scones; a soft baked chocolate amaretto cake with a crème brulee center; and a sweet potato cheesecake with molasses cookie crust.
