 Joe's Pub and the Country Music Association are proud to announce the continuation of the successful CMA (Country Music Association) Songwriter Series with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters. 

 Bob DiPiero has written multiple #1 hits including Montgomery Gentry’s “If You Ever Stop Loving Me”, George Strait’s “Blue Clear Sky” and Vince Gill’s “World’s Apart” to name a few.  He was awarded CMA’s Triple Play Award in both 1995 & 1996 for having three number ones in a twelve month period for Faith Hill’s “Take Me As I Am”, Neal McCoy’s “Wink”, Reba McEntire’s “Till You Love Me”, George Strait’s “Clear Blue Sky”, Vince Gill’s “World’s Apart” and Ricochet’s “Daddy’s Money”.   Bob penned the classic Oak Ridge Boys song “American Made” and was also named Sony/ATV Nashville’s Songwriter of the Year in 2000.

 Tony Mullins has authored songs for superstar Country acts Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Montgomery Gentry and newcomer Craig Morgan.  He recently celebrated another #1 for LeAnn Rimes’ “Something’s Gotta Give” for which she received a 2007 Grammy nomination.  Mullins was awarded the 2000 ASCAP Song of the Year for Kenny Chesney’s “How Forever Feels”.

Jeffrey Steele
is currently Grammy nominated for Country Song of the Year for his writing credit for the Rascal Flatts’ hit “What Hurts The Most”.  In addition to Rascal Flatts, Jeffrey has penned hits for Alabama, Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins and Tim McGraw, to name a few.  Steele was named BMI’s Songwriter of the Year in 2003 and he was given the same award from the NSAI in both 2003 and 2005.  He is Music Row Magazine’s reigning songwriter and song of the year winner.  Steele has also had a hand in producing Country artists Trick Pony, Montgomery Gentry and Keith Anderson. 

Craig Wiseman
has written songs that have resulted in 300 radio released songs, 90 charted singles, and 14 number one hits.  Everyone from Faith Hill, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and Brooks & Dunn have recorded Craig’s songs.  Craig is the songwriter of Tim McGraw’s ten week #1 smash hit “Live Like You Were Dying” for which he won Song of the Year awards from numerous organizations, including the Country Music Association and the Recording Academy.  He also wrote the reigning CMA Song of the Year “Believe” (Brooks & Dunn) with Ronnie Dunn.  He has been named ASCAP’s 2004 & 2005 Songwriter of the Year and is Billboard’s reigning Country Songwriter of the Year.
