This Independence Day presentation features music from both of Paulette’s CDs (“With You” and “Over & Over Again”), a repertoire reminiscent of the golden era of jazz. Her performance evokes the vocal styling of Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee and Billie Holiday; and the flamboyance of none other than Josephine Baker. The showmanship that these grande dames brought to the stage both inspires and permeates Paulette’s show to leave her audience thirsting for more.
