Hajime Yoshida, originally from Chiba, Japan. He started playing the guitar at the age of 15. Even though his interest was playing rock at first, he went into playing improvised music and jazz as well. He spent 6 years of studying jazz guitar/composition at The University of North Texas. He received a scholarship in the jazz studies while he was attending the college. He had an opportunity to play with 3 o'clock lab band at UNT for 2 years. Also, he played in the retirement concert of arranger Paris Rutherford in spring of 2009. While he was very active in the Dallas/Fort-Worth music scene, he co-led and recorded with the band Quatuor. Hajime's first CD "Melodie" will be released in the next year. He moved to Brooklyn NY in 2009, and has been a very active musician in Brooklyn and Queens area.
