Sweet Talk is an exciting new trumpet, guitar and drums trio based in Brooklyn, New York. The band is comprised of Jake Henry, Dustin Carlson and Devin Drobka, the band sound is diverse, incorporating energetic improvisations, eerie melodies and beautiful lyricism. Jake Henry and Dustin Carlson first met at the Banff Centre Arts Residency in Jazz and Creative Music in 2010 and quickly developed a unique musical chemistry. In 2011, Henry and Carlson began playing with Devin Drobka and found his melodic approach to the drums to be a dynamic compliment to their music."Jake Henry is part of a new breed of talented up-and-coming improvisers and composers."⁃ Adrian Vedady, Bassist"Dustin Carlson's eclectic guitar wizardry stands out in a bland sea of regurgitative imitators.
