| Description: | LIVE JAZZ After Work on Wednesday’s- Come join us with Bill Wurtzel on guitar and Jay Leonhart, one of the greatest bassists in jazz, from 6-10pm.
Jay Leonhart- has performed with diverse artists including Judy Garland, Carly Simon, Bucky Pizzarelli, Sting, Mel Torme, and Frank Sinatra. Leonhart is noted for his clever songwriting often laced with dry humor, and his compositions have been recorded by such notable artists as Blossom Dearie, Lee Konitz and Gary Burton.
Bill Wurtzel- has performed with the Count Basie Countsmen, Bill Doggett, Jimmy McGriff, Gloria Lynne, Ruth Brown, Harlem Blues & Jazz Band and for Paul Simon. Photos from his new book "Funny Food" are on display at Velour Lounge.
