Dave Douglas Sextet   Description: The Sextet explores the craft of jazz composition and arranging by paying tribute to particularly influential members of the jazz canon. Their recording projects have paid homage to Booker Little, Wayne Shorter, and most recently, Mary Lou Williams. The band has toured in the United States and Europe and appeared at Brooklyn Academy of Music's Next Wave Festival. Their latest recording Soul on Soul is on RCA Victor.
